My review about vegan places in Warsaw is not as big and profound as I would like it to be. I was pressed for time and managed to visit only three places in the capital of Poland. All the described spots have a very tasty cuisine and a slightly different menu. I will start with a review for vegan pizza lovers with a place called “Vegan Pizza”. You can find it at Poznanska 7.
The menu offers over 20 types of vegan pizza (from a simple vegan pizza with mushrooms to complex options with different fillings and sauces), there are also salads, pastries and a variety of drinks. The price depends on the complexity of your pizza. In general, this spot is inexpensive.
They cook really delicious and tasty pizza. I took pics of three different ones, but, unfortunately, I do not remember their names. As far as I remember, the second pic depicts the pizza that’s called “Three cheese pizza”. It is worth noting that guys working there cook pizza quickly. So if you are very hungry, you won’t wait for long.
The pizzeria is small and cutie.
I recommend all the vegans who want to visit Warsaw literally rush there. Those pizzas are peerless! You can get there every day from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. Also the “Vegan Pizza”cafe provides home delivery services.
The next place will be suitable for vegans who are crazy about vegan burgers. It’s called “Krowarzywa”. You can find it at Hoza 29/31 and Marszałkowska 27/35.
The inside atmosphere is cute and comfortable. It’s such a pleasure to come in and gobble a huge vegan burger! Besides, this place is inexpensive too. Opening hours Mon-Fri 12 a.m – 11 p.m, Fri – Sat 12 a.m – 12 p.m, Sunday 12 a.m – 11 p.m.
The menu consists of different drinks such as milkshakes, tea, lemonade, etc., and of course burgers of your choice. The latter are with seitan, tofu, chickpeas, vegetabled and so on. You might also want to ask to add a slice of cheese, cabbage or beetroot salad to it. You can also choose sauces, like mayonnaise, tomato or tomato pungent sauce, mustard, dill and season (I liked more mustard sauce) to your liking. For people who are allergic to gluten there are gluten free buns.
Burgers here are huge, even a half of it would be enough to eat your fill. As you can see on the picture below the left burger is with seitan, the right is with tofu.
And the last place that captured my heart is Lokal Vegan Bistro. The place is located at ul. Krucza 23/31. Hours: Tuesday – Sunday from 12 a.m to 9 p.m.
In the Lokal Vegan Bistro, as opposed to “Krowarzywa” and “Vegan Pizza”, the menu mainly includes home cooked meals. Here you can find homemade salads, soups, main dishes, desserts and drinks. Portions are very large. I’d definetely recommend lovers of handmade food like soups, main courses, desserst, etc. to visit Lokal Vegan Bistro – the food is yummy there!!! Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to try all the dishes, but nevertheless what I had I loved sooo much. Here is the cauliflower cream soup. It was spicy and warming.
Here is the soy steak, mashed potatoes and vegetables (that’s only the half portion).
And for dessert I had the cupcake which was very tasty as well as everything else in this place.
Also, I had the Caesar salad and oriental borscht with coconut milk, chickpeas, beet and coconut cream. I had no time to take pictures, but coped to check their quality! In my humble opinion, the Lokal Vegan Bistro is the best vegan spot in Poland in 2016.
Basicallay that’s all. Later I will add some new and interesting places here, but be sure to go to those abovementioned. 100% delicious, useful, hearty and vegan = ^ _ ^ =
