Dear friends, as I have promised you I would like to acquaint you with the second part of the Vegan Warsaw review.
First of all, I’d like to tell you about a place that’ll catch Mexican food lovers fancy. “Momencik Vegan Burritos & Tacos” located at Poznańska, 16 will suit the tastes of those who are all nuts about tacos and burritos. Opening hours: Mn.-St. from 12.00 to 21.00, Su. from 12.00 to 20.00.
You can eat either inside or outside (if the weather positively suggests to). Menu is rather diversified. You can try a burrito with a great number of various fillings, also they have tacos and nachos. More than this, you can add a salad to your burrito or eat a soup instead. They also serve lunch options that include a hot soup, burrito and a drink. I had a burrito with tofu, which turned out to be a really big, filling and yummy meal. Burrito is served with pineapple and hot sauces.
The next spot is for burger lovers. “Chwast Food” is located at Waryńskiego 9. Opening hours: Mn.-Th. from 11.00 to 23.00., Fr.-St. from 11.00 to 00.00., Su. 11.00-23.00. They serve these amazing solid burgers at this place:
There are 10 kinds of different vegan burgers in the menu. When ordering a burger you choose a bread roll/bun, sauce to your liking and a filling, e.g., vegan cheese (has to be paid for). Burger might be accomplished with a hot drink or a lemonade. I had a seitan burger with cheese. Needless to say, the burger was off the chart!
And though the summertime and warm season are almost over, I’d like to draw your attention to a cafe with vegan ice-cream. “Vegestacja” cafe is located at Puławska 38. Opening hours: Mn. from 14.00 to 21.00, Tu.-St. 11.30-21.00, Su. from 12.00 to 21.00. That tasty-looking vegan ice-cream is unbelievably good!
