Goes perfectly as a snack, and much more. The main ingredient of this dish is a pack of rice leaves. You can find them in the section of Asian food of your nearest grocery store. For the filling I used tofu, spinach and mushrooms. You can use whatever you want, so the mentioned products are not included in the list of ingredients.
— 1 pack of rice leaves
As usual, let’s start with the filling. Once it is made, let it cool down and proceed with rolling it into the rice leaves.
Looks somewhat like this:
Wet the towel with warm water. Place the the plate with the filling, the plate for prepared wraps and the bowl of warm water (with what you’ll wet the leave) on the table. Place the leave, then fold the corners of the towel in and place it on the leave. Press. Press for 20 seconds. Fold out and see how much the leave is softened. If not sufficiently, spray the leave with more warm water. Put the filling, fold. Warning! Putting too much filling will destroy your dish. It looks like this:
Fry it or stove it. It’s up to you! I prefer frying. Fry each side for a couple of minutes.
Here are our ‘wraps’! They might look strange, but taste good. In fact, the taste thoroughly depends on the filling you use.
Have a nice meal!
