This is a recipe for people who miss spicy and savoury cheese. You won’t need agar powder, strach or other thickeners. And it’s really easy to cook it!
– 1/2 cup chickpea flour;
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder and mustard powder;
– 1/4 tsp cumin powder;
– 1/2 – 1/4 pickled jalapeno;
– 2 Tbsp roasted red pepper;
– 2 Tbsp tomato puree;
– 1/3 tsp salt;
– 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast;
– 1 to 1.5 tsp lemon juice;
– 1/2 tsp vinegar;
– 1 cup water.
The process, as I’ve already mentioned, is easy. Mix all ingredients together and blend it.
Put the mixture into a saucepan, add jalapeno and roasted red pepper. Cook untill the mixture becomes thick like at this pic.
Put the mixture into a container or a mold. Chill it in cold area for about 2 hours (just don’t put it in the fridge). Spray the top with vegetable oil or cover it with food wrap.
Slice cheese, carefully remove it from the container and the mold and place it on a plate and serve.
This cheese will be perfect for burgers or sandwiches. Better eat it like that, because the cheese is very spicy. Bon appetit =^_^=
