My vegan journey spanning a couple of European cities began with a small Belgian town called Liège. Regretfully, it was just a drive-by visit of which I nevertheless tried to make the most. It was my first time there and I did not miss the chance to look for local vegan restaurants. Unfortunately, Liège has only one vegan shop called «Go Veg». There is also a lacto-ovo vegetarian café, which I didn’t go to, and a lot of cafes with vegan options. Liège is a small town, so people do not stay there for long . If you turn out to be in Liège for a little period of time, it will be just enough to buy food in any local store and cook it at the place where you’ll be staying. Store prices are average.
The shop is located at 14 rue Hors Chateau.
Store offers a large assortment of vegan products from vegan snacks to vegan shrimps. Beverages such as non-alcoholic wine are also available. Alongside that they have vegan chocolate, ice cream, cheese and other cool stuff.
Besides, here you can buy vegan shoes, T-shirts, recipe books (they’re mostly in English and French), cosmetics, hygiene products, vegan pet food.
They also have a rest area where you can chill and have a meal. Quality at the picture below is not really good, but in general you can see how it works there from the inside. The store is a really nice place to pay a visit to, with a wide choice of products and pleasant staff.
Come to Liège, this city is definitely worth of your attention!
