Burrito represents Mexican, or chili food. It consists of a mild wheat scone with a filling. As you know, the classical recipe supposes the use of cheese and meat. In our case, the filling will be thoroughly free of ingredients of animal origin.
The list of ingredients:
— a pack of Mexican cones (or ‘tortilla’, 4 pieces);
— 200 g rice;
— 100 g mushrooms;
— 100 g soy meat;
— 1 sweet pepper;
— 100 g greens;
— chili sauce;
— 100 g ketchup;
It’s better to begin with rice. While it boils, we make the other part of the filling. Wash the mushrooms, cut them and put on the frying pan.
Fry the mushrooms for 15 minutes. Then add soy meat. Fry the mix for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the rice is done.
Add ketchup, chili sauce, pepper and greens to the mix. Mix well. Fry for another 15 minutes.
Now mix the filling one more time.
Let it cool down. Once it’s cold, open the pack of Mexican scones and cut them into half.
Put the filling into the center. Envelope the bottom first, then the left side and then the right.
Do the same thing with other scones. If you want it to be golden-brown, fry it without oil.
